Join artist and papermaker Jane Ponsford for an inspiring, hands-on exploration of the art of papermaking. Participants will discover and try a range of techniques from casting richly embossed, sculptural paper pulp sheets to forming delicate, lightweight Eastern-style papers inspired by landscape and place. Both styles can be coloured using locally gathered pigments, plants, and natural dyes (all supplied), making each piece uniquely connected to its surroundings.

Your handmade papers can stand alone as artworks or become part of your own creative practice.

You’ll leave with a beautiful portfolio of locally made papers and the skills and inspiration to continue exploring at home.
