Pembrokeshire-based artist Lucy Burns has returned to the Mabinogion for her commission, creating a sequence of inky blue illustrations that revisit the story of Blodeuwedd and Lleu Llaw Gyffes. Each one offers a vignette from the tale, glimpses of transformation, love and betrayal.
The simplicity of their presentation belies their intensity. Without distraction, the illustrations invite close attention, drawing the viewer into the unfolding drama.
