Standing Train II by Andrzej Jackowski | Estate of the Artist / Derek Williams Trust / Amgueddfa Cymru - Museum Wales
Bywyd Llonydd / Still Life
Part of CELF, the National Contemporary Art Gallery for Wales.
5 September - 31 October
Bywyd Llonydd / Still Life is a fun and colourful exhibition that brings together paintings from the National Collection with brand-new commissioned artworks by eight contemporary artists and makers.
Each artist has been given a painting from the National Collection and asked to create a 3D artwork inspired by it. They have used colours, shapes, textures, patterns or materials from the original artwork to create something new.
The exhibition encourages us to look closely, spot connections between the artworks, and discover how artists turn ideas into something completely new.
Free entry - everyone welcome
